Staff hard at work using the latest NCR accounting machines, photographed in the back offices of Pall Mall East branch and local head office (also known as Kinnaird House), at the climax of the post-war mechanisation drive. When this was published in Connection magazine in 2004, retired colleague John Witt recognized himself as the man smiling at the camera in the centre.
