Personal banker uniform
Barclays was the first UK bank to introduce Personal Bankers. They started with a pilot project in 1977, and went on to become a feature of every branch. As they were based on the customer side of the counter, they needed to be easily identifiable, so were issued with these distinctive Barclays blue uniforms.
