 Barclays Group Archives is open Monday to Friday, 10:00 to 16:00, and we are happy to answer enquiries submitted by email. We also welcome visitors who would like to conduct their own research in person. A 30 year closure period applies to most of our records, with longer periods for records containing information on customers. Visits are strictly by appointment.

 Please note that the archives do not contain any modern customer records, so we cannot help with banking enquiries.

We’re always happy to hear about material that might be suitable for permanent preservation in the collection. If you have any records or artefacts relating to Barclays or one of our predecessors that you are interested in donating, please contact us. Please bear in mind that we are very interested in collecting more recent items that will inform our history in the future.
