Barclays Bank of Botswana

Barclays Bank (DCO) opened its first office at Lobatsi as an agency to Mafeking on 18 August 1950. This was the first bank in the territory known as Bechuanaland until independence in 1966. In 1975 the business was incorporated locally as Barclays Bank of Botswana.
