Bugg and Co, Spalding Commercial Bank

Bugg and Co was established in 1829 and closed in the autumn of 1831 but its business was combined with that of Oundle Commercial Bank to form the new Stamford and Spalding Bank, one of the first joint stock country banks. Henry Bugg became a director of the new company.
