Helston Union Bank

Helston Union Bank had been established as Glyn and Co in 1788, and after various changes in title, ultimately became a joint stock bank in 1836. In 1879 the bank failed and Bolitho, Sons and Co paid the liquidators, and thereby added to the business which they had recently established in the town of Helston.

This bank is documented in Group Archives by single examples of a bank note and a cheque.
