James McLean, Pembroke Dock

James McLean, a travelling draper and agent to the Bristol Steam Navigation Co, opened a banking business at Pembroke Dock called the Milford Haven Bank. He sold the business to the Bank of Wales Ltd in 1864 and remained as manager of the Pembroke Dock branch until he retired in 1867.
