2006

In 2006, Barclays was granted a banking licence by the Qatar Financial Centre's Regulatory Authority, which initially covered Barclays Capital products. Following this, in 2007, a Barclays office was opened in the Financial Centre's Tower in Doha, providing facilities for Barclays Capital, Wealth, and GRCB. In 2012, a Barclays Natural Resource Investment office was opened in Doha, following a partnership with the Qatar Asset Management Company. All information is correct as of August 2015.
