A representative's office was opened in Copenhagen, Demark, in 1971, and served Denmark, Sweden, Norway and Finland. From here, in 1981 a second representative's office was opened in Stockholm. In 2005, it was announced that Barclays was to partner with FӧreningsSparbanken (known as Swedbank) to provide credit cards in the Scandinavian market (Demark, Sweden and Norway) from their headquarters in Stockholm. The card, known as EnterCard, was launched in 2007. In the same year, EnterCard signed a partnership deal with Helgeland Sparebank, resulting in 900,000 customers in Norway and Sweden. A Barclaycard/British Airways card was launched in 2008, whilst in 2010, a combined membership and credit card for the Handels trade union - Handelskopef - was launched.
