What we do
We produce the financial and management information that measures Barclays' performance and shapes our future plans. As well as reporting and forecasting, we deal with property and information risk.

What we do
We’re responsible for every tax issue across Barclays – and that includes everything from the taxes our employees and customers pay to corporate taxes and indirect taxes such as VAT. We keep up to date with local and international tax law, developing and maintaining relationships with fiscal authorities around the world, and we also deal with forecasting and planning. Since we work on complex and lengthy transactions such as mergers and acquisitions, one of our most important roles is explaining tax implications to a wide variety of colleagues without using jargon.
