Wheely good show: riders raise £255,000+ for The Prince’s Trust

19 September 2016

Four hundred and fifty people took to their bikes in the annual 100km Wheels for Change sponsored cycling challenge.

After a summer of British cycling glory, 450 Barclays employees, including senior executives from across Barclays and sponsor partners, pushed their own cycling abilities to the limit in the annual 100km Wheels for Change cycling challenge.

Participants started with a lap of the VeloPark at the Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park in London before heading into the Essex countryside, braving 100km of hills and headwinds in aid of The Prince’s Trust.

This year, Wheels for Change has raised more than £255,000, and with funds still coming through it is well on its way to reaching its target of £300,000; reaffirming the event as one of the largest employee-led initiatives raising funds to support the life-changing work of The Prince’s Trust across the UK.

I’m so proud of Wheels for Change. Year on year our employees’ dedication and commitment to supporting causes they care about have ensured this event has grown both in popularity and funds raised.
