The fifth edition of the award-winning festival Barclaycard presents British Summer Time Hyde Park will play host to six days of some of the world’s biggest pop stars and best live acts in Hyde Park’s iconic surroundings.
After announcing that he was coming out of retirement last year, Phil Collins is to play the biggest solo show of his career on Friday 30 June at Barclaycard presents BST Hyde Park. Part of his ‘Not Dead Yet: Live’ tour, the headlining slot is Collins’ only UK and European festival performance of 2017 and will be among his first live gigs in 10 years.
Making his Hyde Park debut and UK festival exclusive is Canadian global sensation Justin Bieber, one of the biggest pop stars of his generation, in support of his number one album, ‘Purpose’. The 23-year-old best-selling artist is renowned for his energetic live shows and big-budget stage production. Rock royalty The Killers and punk legends Green Day bring some moshing action to the line-up, while Tom Petty & The Heartbreakers will perform a rare UK gig to celebrate the band’s 40th anniversary.
Since its debut in 2013, Barclaycard presents British Summer Time Hyde Park has treated music lovers from the UK and the world to the likes of The Rolling Stones, The Who, Kendrick Lamar, Kylie, Stevie Wonder, Taylor Swift, Take That and is a summer highlight for many festival goers. The festival also won Best Naming Rights / Title Sponsorship at the UK Sponsorship Awards 2017.
