Barclays Ireland appoints Kevin Wall as new CEO
Barclays Bank Ireland has appointed Kevin Wall as its new Chief Executive Officer, where he will be responsible for the ongoing growth and development of the Bank in Ireland.
Kevin, who most recently served as Chairman of Corporate Banking and Vice Chairman, Investment Banking, will be based in Dublin and will take up his position with immediate effect. He joined Barclays in 1981 and has held a variety of roles across the business, including Project Finance and Foreign Exchange in the UK, US and Australia, and London-based management roles in Strategic Planning and Human Resources. These were followed by Investment Banking roles in Hong Kong, Singapore and London. Kevin is a trustee director of the Barclays Pension Fund and a non-executive director of the Business Growth Fund.

Kevin Wall succeeds Sasha Wiggins as CEO of Barclays Bank Ireland, who will take up a new role within Barclays as Head of East & South East in UK Corporate Banking next month.
