Barclays to bring staff from across Canary Wharf into its headquarters

Barclays has today announced it will move its Corporate & Investment Bank from 5 North Colonnade to its London headquarters at One Churchill Place, Canary Wharf, bringing together all employees based in Canary Wharf into one building.

This is the result of a long-term review, which aims to drive efficiencies across the Group’s real estate portfolio and enable the Group to operate more effectively.

Bringing teams closer together facilitates further collaboration to innovate and deliver at pace for Barclays’ customers and clients. Plans for renovation are underway at One Churchill Place and Barclays is expected to vacate 5 North Colonnade in full by the end of 2022, while continuing to honour its obligations under the existing lease.
