Supporting our communities across the UK
Barclays’ COVID-19 Community Aid Package donations are deployed through partnerships with trusted charities and, to date, more than 370 charity partners around the world have been supported by Barclays to deliver vital relief efforts to people most in need.
In the UK, we’ve partnered with charities supporting communities during the pandemic, including Macmillan Cancer Support, enabling them to handle over 13,000 additional interactions with people living with cancer, and Turn2us, who extended their financial support helpline operating hours during the peak of the pandemic.
100x100 Programme
Through our 100x100 Programme, we invited UK charities to apply for one of 100 donations of £100,000 each, to help them deliver impactful on-the-ground support. We were so inspired by the scale of the response, we expanded the programme to help more charities. We’ve now supported 250 organisations across the UK.
We hear from some of our UK charity partners about the difference they are making through support from Barclays.
