Barclays celebrates Runwood Homes' CQC Award

28 June 2017

Runwood Homes’ Woodbury Court in Laindon, Essex has been rated ‘outstanding’ by the Care Quality Commission (CQC) following an inspection in January.

Runwood Homes’ Woodbury Court received the award in January after an inspection and was rated ‘Outstanding’ for being caring, responsive and well-led, and ‘good’ for being safe and effective.

Recognising this achievement, Barclays presented Managing director Logan Logeswaran and the team at Woodbury Court with an engraved glass award to commemorate the event.

Woodbury Court provides accommodation for up to 94 people including those living with dementia.

Mel Oliver, Home Manager, said: “The team and I at Woodbury Court are overwhelmed with the outcome that we have received at this inspection. The CQC inspectors were very thorough and fair throughout the inspection process and could clearly see how the home had developed since previous CQC inspections.”

James Lean, Relationship Director, Corporate Banking at Barclays, said: “Attaining an Outstanding Award from the CQC is a great achievement and testimony to the hard work and dedication of the team at Runwood Homes.”
