Vans 365 looks to expansion and ambitious growth plans

24 January 2018

A Bristol-headquartered independent commercial vehicle dealership is revving up for success after purchasing and moving to new freehold premises.

Established in 2012, Vans 365 is a RAC-approved dealership specialising in new and used vans. Its new two acre former haulage site at Staunton Lane, Whitchurch, Bristol, will provide much needed space for additional stock and as well as offering onsite a one stop dedicated workshop and office space. The dealership stocks all makes and models of commercial vehicles ranging from £2,000 to £50,000 which are hand selected and sold across the UK and beyond.

A significant six-figure funding package for the site purchase was provided by Barclays.

The five year-old business has experienced expediential growth during that period and currently employs 13 people, a number expected to rise as the dealership’s reputation continues to grow online and across the South West. Hundreds of vans are sold each month and the business looks set to double its current turnover in 2018.

Local entrepreneur Jordan Franklin, 31, and owner of Vans 365, said: “It has always been my ambition to have bespoke premises to operate the business from and it’s now a great place to welcome and conduct meetings with potential customers. It’s provided space to increase the number of vehicles on site and improve the workshop facilities which can only help to enhance the customer end to end experience when buying a commercial vehicle from us.”

All commercial vehicles for sale on the forecourt have at least 20 high resolution images available online and weather permitting UAV imagery aiming to provide potential buyers with as much information about the vehicle as possible.

Jordan added: “Since moving to the new location, commercial vehicle sales have already amplified and the site is proving to be a great platform to build upon for the future.”

Jason Grail, Barclays Business Manager, Bristol, who put the funding in place, said: “We’re pleased to have been able to support Vans 365 in securing their new premises and we’re very proud to be associated with the next stage of their ambitious growth plans. Vans 365 has a strong position in a niche market and this is a great opportunity to maximise the potential the business has to grow its customer base across the South West which has to be good news for the business and the local economy.”

Vans 365 is FCA regulated.
