
Hatters Hostel reveal major makeover in Manchester
Hatters Hostel on Hilton Street in the Northern Quarter has opened its doors to reveal a major new refurbishment thanks to a £750k financial injection from Barclays who continue to support the growth of the business.
A total of 15 hotel-standard private rooms with 42” plasma Netflix TVs and 20 dormitory rooms have been added to the swanky new Hilton Street property. Each dormitory includes privacy panels, reading lights and private lockers alongside super-fast, free WiFi, free breakfast and 24 hour room service.
Over the past 14 years, Hatters Hostels have provided a fun and social city central base for the budget-conscious traveller. With over 50,000 young independent backpackers passing through its door annually, Hatters is one of the major driving forces for youth tourism into the great city of Manchester.
In keeping with the regeneration of the Northern Quarter, the Hatters development includes the complete renovation of the entire property with the installation of smart new glazing, canopies, planting and local artwork.
Hatters Hostels welcomes guests from all across the globe and places a big emphasis on helping newcomers to the city get out and explore all the fantastic independent hubs, attractions and historic sites that Manchester has to offer. Free Food nights, pub crawls and walking tours are all part of the hostel experience and added value at Hatters.
