East Midlands

The East Midlands region is made up of the counties of Derbyshire, Leicestershire, Nottinghamshire, Northamptonshire, Rutland and Lincolnshire (except for North and North East Lincs). Historically, the region is perhaps best known for its rag trade and in particular Nottingham for its lace making. However, today the region excels in the manufacturing sector with companies such as Rolls Royce and Toyota choosing the region as its base.
