Wimbledon Competition Terms and Conditions

This sets out the rules for this competition. Make sure you read them carefully and understand them all before you enter the draw.
Introduction
Barclays is running a promotion (the “competition ”), between Monday 1st July 2024 – Sunday 14th July 2024 (the “Promotional Period”) that gives attendees a chance to win - one pair (2 tickets) of No.1 Court tickets to The Championships, Wimbledon 2025 every day. There will be a total of 14 winners.
By entering, you agree to be bound by these terms and conditions.Rules
1. The “Promoter”, ”Barclays”, “we”, “us” and “ours” means Barclays Bank PLC, Barclays Execution Services Limited, Clydesdale Financial Services Limited, Barclays Bank UK PLC.2. “Barclays Employee” for the purposes of this competition means a full time or part time employee on a permanent or fixed term contract, or anyone undertaking an internship, sub-contracting role, or work placement with one of the following entities or their direct suppliers at the time of the draw:

3. The competition is open to United Kingdom residents, aged 16 or over, with a valid e-mail address at the time of entry only, who meet the criteria set out in Clause 7 of these terms and conditions.4. You are not eligible for the competition if you are an Employee of Barclays or materially connected to the administration of the competition.
Entry
5. Entry into the competition is free.
6. You can enter the competition from 07:30 BST on 1st July 2024 until 20:00 BST > on 14th July 2024. The final entry into the competition is 19:55 and the closing time for the competition each day is 20:00 the “Promotional Period”). Entries made after this time will not be valid, even if they appear to be registered.
7. To be entered into the competition you must:- Provide a valid e-mail address and return a maximum of three serves from our tennis simulator powered by BatFast (BatFast Cricket Centres, Unit 12, Quayside Court, Colwick Quays, Business Park, NG4 2JY, United Kingdom) for the chance to win.
The winner will be the entrant who has achieved the highest score of the day.Participants will need to register their email address and score into the Batfast system using an iPad.
8. There will be one entry per person, multiple entries will not be counted.
9. Lost, delayed, undelivered, incomplete, entries made via third parties, or multiple entries will not be entered into the competition. The Promoter accepts no responsibility for entries not successfully completed due to a technical fault, technical malfunction, computer hardware or software failure, satellite, network or server failure of any kind. The Promoter accepts no responsibility for any entries which are not completed for any reason.The Prize

(1) A pair (2 tickets) of No. 1 Court 2025 Wimbledon court tickets for Sunday 13th July 2025There will be one (1) prize winner per day, won by the entrant who scores the highest score for that day. Each winner will receive one pair (2 tickets) of No.1 Court tickets to The Championships, Wimbledon 2025 for one of the dates listed above. Allocated ticket date cannot be changed. . This prize is ticket only and does not include any food, travel or accommodation.
11. The Prize has no cash equivalent and no alternatives to the Prize will be offered. The Prize and participation in the competition cannot be exchanged or transferred, and may be subject to additional terms and conditions. However, in the event that the Prize offered is unavailable due to circumstances beyond our control, we reserve the right to offer an alternative Prize of equal or greater value.
12. The Prize winners listed in Clause 10 will be contacted within 28 days of taking part in the competition . It is the winner’s responsibility to confirm receipt of their prize. Barclays reserve the right to refuse any winners who do not communicate within the stated 28 day period. All prize winners will be contacted via the email address provided.
13. Barclays is not liable for delayed or non-delivery of the Prize for any reason beyond its control, including but not limited to loss or theft in transit or any failure by you to accept delivery of and or collect your Prize for any reason.14. The competition winners are responsible for their own expenses, incurred in connection with the Prize.
15. The Promotor shall not be liable or responsible in case a winner should fail to use the Prize, for any reason whatsoever.
Selecting the Winners16. The daily prize winner will be the eligible entrant that registered the highest score on each of the given days listed above in Clause10,. Winners will be contacted via email by a member of the Barclays team within 28 days of the competition. The winner is determined via the Batfast technology leader board.
17. In the event that there are multiple participants with joint highest scores, the winner will be drawn at random from only those eligible entries that registered the joint highest score by “a verifiably random computer process”. The draw will take place by 20:00 each day of the promotional period.
18. Barclays will notify the winner(s) via email, used for entry by 20:00 BST on 29 July 2024.
19. The Promoter can replace any entrant selected as the winners if:
(a) the entrant does not respond to the notification within seventy-two (72) hours after it has been sent by providing any additional details required for provision of the prize and/or;
(b) We reasonably believe that the entrant has broken one of these rules.
20. With the exception of any winners who has requested a suppression of their details under applicable data protection laws, the name and county of the winners will be made available to anyone sending an email entitled Take on Tiafoe competition winners disclosure’ to the following email address tennispartnerships@barclays.com within twenty-eight (28) days of the published closing date.
21. Winners of this competition can request for a suppression of any disclosure of their details subject to any requirements to share promotion prize winner’s information with relevant regulators or to fulfil a legal requirement. All winners will be offered this right at the point of the winning notification detailed in Clause 19.
22. The Promoter’s selection of the winners is final. No other correspondence will be entered into.
Personal Information
23. Barclays will only collect, store and use your personal information, such as name, age and basic contact details including email address, for the purposes of entering you into, administering, and promoting the competition as set out in these rules, and not for any other purpose without your consent. This will not affect any existing marketing preferences that you have registered with Barclays.
24. By entering the competition, you consent that your personal information may be transferred to our service providers and agents (including their sub-contractors) to store and use as necessary to administer the competition. Barclays will ensure that any third parties processing or storing your personal information for the competition, shall comply with the same data protection requirements as Barclays and this personal data will only be processed for the purposes of administering this competition. The winners of the competition consents that their personal information may be transferred to our service providers and agents (including their sub-contractors) to store and use as necessary to publicise the competition. If required, the winners of the competition consents to their personal address being transferred to a courier company/postal service for the purpose of delivering the Prize. We will never pass your information to any third party for them to use in their own direct marketing, without your consent.
25. Personal information for all entrants will be held on record for as short a period of time as necessary to administer the Promotion and then securely destroyed. Personal information for winner’s will be held on file for a period of up to one year to satisfy regulatory reporting requirements on prize giving activities in different jurisdictions.
26. If you wish to opt-out of the competition, please email the following address tennispartnerships@barclays.com stating your request to opt out. If you wish to stop your personal data being used in this way in future, or enact your rights under applicable privacy law, please ‘object to data processing’ in line with our privacy policy. Please be aware that by opting out of your data being used you will be removing yourself from the competition .
Liability
27. It is the responsibility of the entrant to judge their fitness in relation to any medical condition(s) which could impact their safe participation in and or use of the Prize.
28. To the extent permitted by law, Barclays will not be liable for any loss, damage, injury or disappointment suffered in connection with the competition (including any damage to your or any other person’s computer or mobile phone equipment as a consequence of downloading or accessing any materials), or any delays or failure (in whole or in part) to perform any of its obligations if such delay or failure is caused by something beyond its reasonable control.
29. The competition are not sponsored, endorsed, administered by, or associated with BatFast Cricket Centres, Wimbledon, AELTC, or Frances Tiafoe, Twitter, Facebook or Instagram. You agree to release BatFast Cricket Centres, Wimbledon, AELTC, or Frances Tiafoe Twitter, Facebook and Instagram from any liability associated with the competition.
30. This competition is not affiliated with, sponsored by or endorsed by the third parties referenced in these terms and associated marketing, products or retailers featured in the prizes. Trademarks, logos and names of the third parties, products and retailers are the property of their respective owners.
31. To the extent that the Prize is viewed by HM Revenue & Customs as a taxable benefit-in-kind, Barclays will pay the full UK tax and social security liability arising on the associated benefit-in-kind on behalf of the winner(s). This will not affect the winning participants’ personal tax positions.
General
32. Owing to exceptional circumstances outside its reasonable control, the Promoter may choose to withdraw or amend the competition at any time.
33. By submitting an entry, you warrant that all information submitted as part of the entry is true, current and complete. The Promoter reserves the right to verify all entries.
34. These rules shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales and the courts of England shall have exclusive jurisdiction in relation to any disputes arising in respect of this competition.

Introduction
Barclays is running a ‘Spin to Win’ promotion (the “Promotion” between Monday 1st July 2024 and Sunday 14th July 2024 that gives you a chance to win promotional merchandise, vouchers for onsite use or tickets to events at Wimbledon when you visit the Barclays activation (Barclays Clubhouse at Aorangi) during The Championships, Wimbledon and play the ‘Spin to Win’ game at the Giving Lockers. There will be a maximum of 3,878 winners.
By entering, you agree to be bound by these terms and conditions.

7. To be entered you must:
· Visit the Barclays activation (Barclays Clubhouse at Aorangi) and complete the entry form.
· Read the terms and conditions carefully and tick the box to 'accept'
· Spin the wheel on the Giving Locker interface
Barclays Premier customers are guaranteed to win a complimentary drink (see table in Clause 9), even if they do not win a prize via the ‘Spin to win’ game. Please note you will need to show proof of your product holding to a Brand Ambassador onsite (e.g. Barclays Premier debit card, Barclays app) in order to redeem.
8. Each person gets one spin of the wheel, multiple spins will not be counted

13. The Prize Draw winners is responsible for their own expenses, incurred in connection with the Prize.

9. Lost, delayed, undelivered, incomplete, illegible, inaccurate, entries made via third parties, or multiple entries will not be entered into the Prize Draw. The Promoter accepts no responsibility for entries not successfully completed due to a technical fault, technical malfunction, computer hardware or software failure, satellite, network or server failure of any kind. Barclays reserve the right to disqualify entries from the Prize Draw that may reasonably be considered to be, defamatory, offensive, libellous, hateful, racially or religiously biased or offensive, unlawfully threatening or unlawfully harassing to any individual, partnership, corporation or entity, or if we have reasonable grounds to believe that you have breached any of these Terms and Conditions.
The Prize
11. There will be 4 winners. The following are collectively defined as the “Prize”. The winners will receive one of the following prizes:
1. A pair (two) of The Championships, Wimbledon 2025 No. 1 Court tickets for the first Sunday of The Championships (Sunday 6th July 2025).
2. An official The Championships, Wimbledon 2024 poster, signed by players provided by the Wimbledon Foundation [exact players TBC].
3. A tennis ball used in The Championships, Wimbledon Ladies' Singles Final 2023 and signed by Marketa Vondrousova.
4. A pair (two) of Official The Championships, Wimbledon towels.
There will be four (4) prize winners, selected at random after the Promotional Period, from all valid entries submitted during the Promotional Period. Ticket prizes are ticket only and do not include any food, travel or accommodation.
12. The Prizes have no cash equivalent and no alternatives to the Prize will be offered. The Prize and participation in the Prize Draw cannot be exchanged or transferred, and may be subject to additional terms and conditions. However, in the event that the Prize offered is unavailable due to circumstances beyond our control, we reserve the right to offer an alternative Prize of equal or greater value.
13. The Prize and all prizes listed in Clause 11 must be fulfilled within 14 days of receiving contact from Barclays. It is the winner’s responsibility to confirm receipt of their prize. Barclays reserve the right to refuse any winners who do not communicate within the stated 14 day period.
14. Barclays is not liable for delayed or non-delivery of the Prize for any reason beyond its control, including but not limited to loss or theft in transit or any failure by you to accept delivery of and/or collect your Prize for any reason.

Selecting the Winners
17. The Prize Draw winners will be drawn at random from only those eligible entries by “a verifiably random computer process”. Submission cards will be identified by unique number, with the random draw selecting one number that will correspond to a submission card. This process will be repeated four times to select four winners.
18. The order in which Prize Draw winners are randomly selected will determine the Prize they receive, as outlined in Clause 11. For the avoidance of doubt, the Prize Draw winner randomly selected first will receive Prize 1 in Clause 11, the Prize Draw winner randomly selected second will receive Prize 2 in Clause 11, the Prize Draw winner randomly selected third will receive Prize 3 in Clause 11, and the Prize Draw winner randomly selected fourth will receive Prize 4 in Clause 11. The Prize won by the Winners cannot be exchanged for another Prize in the Prize Draw.
19. Winners will be notified via e-mail, sent from tennispartnerships@barclays.com within seven (7) days from 15th July – 22nd July 2024.
20. The Promoter can replace any entrant selected as the winners if:
(a) the entrant does not respond to the notification within seventy-two (72) hours after it has been sent by providing any additional details required for provision of the prize and/or;
(b) We reasonably believe that the entrant has broken the rules.

The winners of the Prize Draw consents that their personal information may be transferred to our service providers and agents (including their sub-contractors) to store and use as necessary to publicise the Prize Draw. If required, the winners of the Prize Draw consents to their personal address being transferred to a courier company/postal service for the purpose of delivering the Prize. We will never pass your information to any third party for them to use in their own direct marketing, without your consent.
26. Personal information for all entrants will be held on record for as short a period of time as necessary to administer the Promotion and then securely destroyed. Personal information for winner’s will be held on file for a period of up to one year to satisfy regulatory reporting requirements on prize giving activities in different jurisdictions.
27. If you wish to opt-out of the Prize Draw please email the following address tennispartnerships@barclays.com stating your request to opt out. If you wish to stop your personal data being used in this way in future, or enact your rights under applicable privacy law, please ‘object to data processing’ in line with our privacy policy. Please be aware that by opting out of your data being used you will be removing yourself from the Prize Draw.
Liability
28. It is the responsibility of the entrant to judge their fitness in relation to any medical condition(s) which could impact their safe participation in and or use of the Prize.
29. To the extent permitted by law, Barclays will not be liable for any loss, damage, injury or disappointment suffered in connection with the Prize Draw (including any damage to your or any other person’s computer or mobile phone equipment as a consequence of downloading or accessing any materials), or any delays or failure (in whole or in part) to perform any of its obligations if such delay or failure is caused by something beyond its reasonable control.
30. This Prize Draw is not affiliated with, sponsored by or endorsed by the third parties referenced in these terms and associated marketing, products or retailers featured in the prizes. Trademarks, logos and names of the third parties, products and retailers are the property of their respective owners.
31. To the extent that the Prize is viewed by HM Revenue & Customs as a taxable benefit-in-kind, Barclays will pay the full UK tax and social security liability arising on the associated benefit-in-kind on behalf of the winner(s). This will not affect the winning participants’ personal tax positions.
General
32. Owing to exceptional circumstances outside its reasonable control, the Promoter may choose to withdraw or amend the Prize Draw at any time.
33. By submitting an entry, you warrant that all information submitted as part of the entry is true, current and complete. The Promoter reserves the right to verify all entries.
34. These rules shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales and the courts of England shall have exclusive jurisdiction in relation to any disputes arising in respect of this Prize Draw.
