Barclays football
Barclays has a rich history in football. At the elite level, we’ve partnered with the Premier League for over 23 years and were the first title sponsor of the Women’s Super League when it became professional in 2019, proud to now be in our sixth season.
We are committed to football across the entire football pyramid and strive to pave the way for the future of the game. Whether that be providing equal access for girls to football in schools through the Barclays Girls’ Football School Partnerships, or providing grants and support to underrepresented groups in the community through the Barclays Community Football Fund.
We’re here for community, we’re here for opportunity. We’re here for every goal.
Here for every goal
At Barclays, we've made a record-breaking commitment to women and girls' football. But invested in so much more. In confidence. In Leadership. In being part of a team. For us, it's about more than football, it’s about creating a brighter future together.
Find out how we’re backing women off the pitch.
Here for every goal report
We’ve published a report that looks at the incredible positive impact the development of women’s and girls’ football can have on society, beyond the pitch. No matter what your life goal might be, football can help you get there.

Barclays Football Ambassador and England legend Kelly Smith MBE, writes a letter to her younger self about the challenges she will have to overcome to play the game she loves and the moments she will be most proud of.
